Founded with the authorization of the Ministry of Education, South China Business College, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), is an independent college specializing in undergraduate education。。

South China Business College is situated in Guangzhou, a famous historic and cultural city and the economic and cultural centre of South China。。 Located near Guangcong Highway in Baiyun District, the College has access to convenient public transportation and enjoys a favorable natural surrounding。。 It is an ideal place for education thanks to the campus fully-equipped with teaching, learning, living and entertaining facilities, as well as a highly-motivated and experienced teaching faculty。。

South China Business College now has 9 departments and divisions, namely, Department of European Languages and Cultures, Department of Asian Languages and Cultures, Department of International Trade and Economics, Department of Management, Department of Information Science and Technology, Department of Chinese Language and Culture, Department of English Language Education, Division of Common Subjects and Division of Political Theory Education。。 The College offers 16 undergraduate programs, covering four disciplines-literature, economics, management, and engineering。。 The College currently has a student population of 8,200。。

South China Business College adheres to the way of operation which completely agrees with socialist aims and correctly follows the educational guidelines of our nation。。 Following GDUFS’ motto, “Moral Integrity, Outstanding Performance, Learning across Cultures”, the College has developed a clear-cut concept, that is, to encourage and foster students’ aspiration towards knowledge, scientific research and humanistic values, to follow the modern higher education law, to adapt to the rules of economic and social development, to shape students’ moral integrity, to spark students’ spirit of innovation and to enhance students’ capability to put knowledge into practice。。 The College aims at producing highly qualified young people, who are fully capable of competing and cooperating in the international area with noble minds, sound health, solid foundation and a wide scope of knowledge, broad horizon, and rewarding proficiency in cross-cultural communication。。 In order to fulfill their objectives, they are expected to excel in their respective fields of specialization and to have a good command of a foreign language so that they can meet the needs of rapid social and economic changes。。 To ensure the teaching and learning quality, the College is now undertaking the undergraduate teaching reform project of higher education and hence enjoys good reputation with regard to its teaching level and students’ comprehensive ability。。

The College attaches great importance to and actively conducts academic and cultural exchanges with foreign counterparts。。 By communicating and cooperating with universities and educational organizations in many foreign countries such as the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, South Korea and Japan, South China Business College provides students with direct access to overseas study and training。。

In , South China Business College will enroll 2,000 students (1,400 of liberal arts and 600 of science) in 15 provinces, including Guangdong, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Haian, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and Shaanxi。。 The college will offers 18 undergraduate majors including seven language programs, namely, English, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, French and Arabian。。

The College will offers undergraduate diploma to all full-time students upon successful graduation。。 Those who meet the requirements of the Bachelor Degree Program will receive Bachelor’s Degree issued by South China Business College, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies。。
